Top 5 Art and Design Apps in Ghana Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five art and design applications in Ghana showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor demonstrated significant growth in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 11.3K in the last week of September. Weekly revenue fluctuated, with a peak of around $383 in late August. Active users steadily increased, reaching nearly 34.7K by the end of the quarter.

Animated Sticker Maker (FSM) had a consistent download rate, ranging from 855 to 1.4K downloads per week. Active users showed a gradual increase, peaking at around 2K by the end of September, although the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Poster Maker & flyer maker app saw its downloads fluctuate, starting strong at 808 downloads in late June but dropping to as low as 126 in early August before stabilizing. Revenue was modest, peaking at $37 in mid-July and mid-September. Active users decreased over the quarter, ending at approximately 570.

Flyers, Poster Maker, Design maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 288 in the final week of September. Revenue was minimal, reaching a high of $19 in mid-July. Active users also remained stable, with a slight increase to about 337 by the end of the quarter.

Invitation maker & Card Design experienced a varied download rate, with a significant spike to 439 downloads in late July and another peak at 102 in the last week of September. Revenue was minimal, with the highest being $10 in mid-July. Active users showed a decline mid-quarter but recovered to 424 by the end of September.
